Derek Blank is a financial adviser who has been involved in New Zealand’s financial services industry for over two decades. During the many years he spent working for leading institutions, he helped to design the products that Kiwis use every day, leading to a deep level of understanding of how they all work. Derek is both degree and industry qualified, he places great importance on professional development and is continually upskilling.
Derek has a true passion for the financial services industry. He genuinely enjoys working with people and using his industry experience to help them understand the complexities of insurance and investment. He prides himself on his integrity; he’ll only offer advice that he would follow himself in the same situation. Derek enjoys forming ongoing relationships with his clients and looks forward to catching up with them for regular reviews. His biggest motivator and reward is seeing people achieve their financial goals.
When he’s not at work, Derek is a dedicated family man, an IRONMAN, and loves a wide range of sports.
